grimaldi’s near brooklyn bridge serve one mean pizza

Una pizza neapolitana (i think in 12th street bet 1st and 2nd ave)
not a newyork pie- but very good -an authentic italian pie

But the Pizza God is in avenue J, Brooklyn- Difara’s—-small place, its a one man pizza making art-forget the weekends as the wait in tremendous, try on weekdays- order a regular pie- no toppings, just keep it simple ($20). It is a must have experience in any pizza lovers book
