You don’t know me but I know you through Shirin talking about your days together at USC. I check your blog from time to time partly just to see what’s going on and partly because I love Indian food, even cook it from time to time. So I just wanted to say this was a great post. I too have always admired the way Indian women can pull a meal together with what appears to be such ease. I guess that comes from doing it all the time. But it’s nice to read her story and your appreciation of her and admiration for everything she’s done without complaint. You’re a lucky girl but now she’s set the bar high for you. 🙂
